In the Fire Station Museum, 201 S. Kaufman, Mt. Vernon, Texas, you will find a remarkable exhibit of sports memorabilia related to the life and career of home-town boy and pro-football legend Don Meredith. The Meredith Exhibit is open every Saturday, 10am-2pm. Appointments for tours can be scheduled by calling 903-537-4760, Tuesday-Friday from 9am-3pm.
