Exhibits

In the Fire Station Museum, 107 Scott Street, Mt. Vernon, Texas, you will find two floors of remarkable exhibits: downstairs featuring the life and career of home-town and pro-football legend Don Meredith, and upstairs featuring our rare bird egg collection, Indian artifacts, butterflies, woodworking, local art and antique odds and ends.  The Museum is open Monday - Friday, 9am-1pm. Appointments for tours can be scheduled by calling 903-537-9300.
